Check out these hot tips from Celebrity Makeup Artists that will keep you looking photo shoot ready!
Cheeks, Lips & Eyes
1. Replace your mascara as soon as it starts to dry out.
2. Remember your lip liner should only be 1-2 shades darker than your lip stick. Get rid of the "Hoochie Mama" look!
3. Use an eye shadow primer on your lids before applying color. It makes your shadow last longer.
4. Try dabbing a bit of blush to your lips before applying lipstick. It gives your color staying power! Use a blush color that's close to the lipstick you plan to wear. It works!
5. Smile when applying powdered blush, or other cheek color to your face. It helps to get it in the right area. We never want the look of a clown. Remember, less is more!
Foundations and Powders
1. Always have two foundations of different colors on hand. One for summer months, and the other for winter months when our skin gets lighter.
2. Check the color of a new foundation on the face or jawline, instead of our hands, and wrists. They're normally a different shade than our face.
3. Keep a pack of oil absorbing tissues in your purse for quick touch ups.
4. If you have oily skin choose water based foundations.
5. For normal/combination skin types-most foundation formulas will work on your skin.
6. Dry skin types need moisture, so choose foundations, creams and powders that add moisture to the skin.
7. Beautiful makeup starts with great skin!
8. Don't forget to moisturize your skin before applying foundations. Moisturizers act as a barrier between your skin and makeup. Possibly preventing further breakouts to
your face.
