Check out these hot tips from Celebrity Makeup Artists that will keep you looking photo shoot ready!

Cheeks, Lips & Eyes
1. Replace your mascara as soon as it starts to dry out.

2. Remember your lip liner should only be 1-2 shades darker than your lip stick. Get rid of the "Hoochie Mama" look!

3. Use an eye shadow primer on your lids before applying color. It makes your shadow last longer.

4. Try dabbing a bit of blush to your lips before applying lipstick. It gives your color staying power! Use a blush color that's close to the lipstick you plan to wear. It works!

5. Smile when applying powdered blush, or other cheek color to your face. It helps to get it in the right area. We never want the look of a clown. Remember, less is more!

Foundations and Powders
1. Always have two foundations of different colors on hand. One for summer months, and the other for winter months when our skin gets lighter.

2. Check the color of a new foundation on the face or jawline, instead of our hands, and wrists. They're normally a different shade than our face.

3. Keep a pack of oil absorbing tissues in your purse for quick touch ups.

4. If you have oily skin choose water based foundations.

5. For normal/combination skin types-most foundation formulas will work on your skin.

6. Dry skin types need moisture, so choose foundations, creams and powders that add moisture to the skin.

7. Beautiful makeup starts with great skin!

8. Don't forget to moisturize your skin before applying foundations. Moisturizers act as a barrier between your skin and makeup. Possibly preventing further breakouts to
your face.

Atti Worku : Miss Ethiopia 2005

"When I was in the Miss Universe Pageant in 2005 it was awesome, and intimidating at the same time. I saw hundreds of beautiful girls, but I had to remember that my beauty was unique, and that it starts from the inside. That helped me to relax and enjoy the experience more.
Stop comparing yourself to every other girl you see, and learn to appreciate your differences.".

VIP Tips
* Spray your hairbrush with perfume then brush through hair.

* Alternate between a lighter perfume for Spring or Summer, and a heavier one for winter.

* Pull your finger through lips after applying lipstick, so it doesn't smear on teeth later.

* VIPs never fuss over their makeup in public. You always look fabulous!

Extensions for Everyone
1. Choose the type of extension that best suits your lifestyle. (The glue-in type is not for active people who sweat a lot. If you play a lot of sports, try the sew-in style instead, which lasts longer.)

2. Choose hair that's close to your own natural color and texture. 100 percent Human Hair is always best to use.

3. Wash your hair regularly. No one likes the smell of stinky hair!

4. Human hair can be styled with curling irons, as usual, but synthetic hair will burn. To curl synthetic hair use a wet set with rollers.

5. Never keep hair extensions in for an extended amount of time, as matting can occur at the roots. Besides, hair needs a breather every now and then.

3 Basic Steps

1) Cleanse
2) Tone
3) Moisturize

1. Cleanse your face as usual, followed by
a toner.

2. Steam pores using an at-home Facial Steamer, or a pan filled with hot water,to sweat out impurities in skin. Cover your head with a towel for about 15-20 minutes. Allow face to sweat, then rinse with cool water.

3. Proceed by applying your mask product, to either tighten and refine pores, or add moisture to the skin. Follow directions, then rinse off.

4. Apply a facial scrub to exfoliate the skin. Rub in a circular motion, avoiding the eye and mouth area, then rinse.

5. Follow up with a soothing moisturizing (Any products containing Aloe Vera Gel, Lavender, or Chamomile are great on the skin after a facial. They help to calm and restore balance to the skin.
