Remedy for the Shoes Blues
* Buy the right size. Have your foot measured if in doubt.
* Put both shoes on and walk around in them. Be aware of
places that hurt immediately, or may be too tight.
* If the shoe hurts in the store, most likely it won’t feel any
better once you get it home.
* The only shoes that may stretch & relax a bit more are leather
shoes. If it’s a plastic based material it won’t stretch any more.
* Wear comfortable & quickly removable shoes when shopping.
It’s such a hassle when you have to constantly unbuckle straps,
or take off socks each time you go into a new store.
Style Secrets
* Cut off those ugly straps that some manufacturer’s sew into our clothing for hanging purposes. Guess what!! They’re a pain, and you’ll never be able to keep them tucked in. They always tend to ruin a good look. There’s nothing like going to the prom with those darn straps hanging out.
* Wear appropriate colored bras underneath white clothing, otherwise everyone will know the exact type of bra you wear.
(Nude or skin toned colored undergarments for Latin, or white caucasian skin. Dark brown or black for darker skin tones.)

Five Season Must Haves
1. A pair of skinny jeans, or pencil leg jeans.
2. Knee high boots with heels or flat riding boots.
3. Loose fitting tunic sweater to drape over jeans.
4. A long multi-colored scarf (dark colors preferably) to accent any outfit, and tie in more than one way.
5. Gloves to match your scarf. Pick one of the colors in the scarf’s pattern.
HOW TO UPDATE YOUR WARDROBE
WITHOUT BREAKING THE BANK
* Use the hottest accessories to update your look without going out and buying a whole new wardrobe every single season. Sometimes all you need is a new fashion belt, or a couple of new pieces of cosmetic jewelry to make you look “in” the moment.
* A new pair of shoes will also keep you looking in the know…..for example this summer it was the strappy Roman style sandals. This fall it could be the high and heeled, but similarly designed strappy boots and shoes.
* Just remember there’s more than one way to keep your fashion look updated without breaking the bank. And one more thing, don’t forget to update your hair & makeup too. |
